ALESSANDRO PAGANI...I was born in Florence, Italy on a thick, foggy Saturday, January 11, 1964 - the very same day NUTELLA was born as well as Albert Dupontel, a French actor, comedian and director. I have no idea who he is but I thought it would be cool to mention him. I work for the local HEALTH AUTHORITY...and yes, I am a civil servant( or rather "a civil sub-servant") but I guarantee that I have always done my duty.
During the 1980's, in a Florence that was a vibrant cultural hub and a new wave vanguard, i joined the Florentine underground movement PAT PAT RECORDER. It was during this period the my musical journey began, playing with various bands such as:
STROPHARIA MERDARIA ( a legendary Floritine punk band )
PARCE QU"LL EST TRISTE (Comedy Rock)
HYPERSONICS ( electronic psychedelia, with whom I performed at AREZZO WAVE in 1990 )
SUBTERRANEANS ( noise garage )
MALASTRANA ( post-rock )
and later VALVOLA (lounge, electronica, hauntology) alongside GIUSEPPE BARONE and GIANNI ANTONINO, with whom I founded the independent label SHADO RECORDS, active until 2007
