A Talented singer is not only blessed with the ability to entertain but also to move the emotions of listeners. One artist that has earned the reputation to mesmerize the masses with her beautiful voice is Philidelphia native known as TREYA.

TREYA was raised in a middle-classed area known as Wynnefield. She first became an avid singer at the tender age of nine just before joining her church chior and embarked upon it as a career after graduating from Penn State University as a business major. One of the qualities that seperated her from other musicians is her insatiable love for improving her craft. She is student of the Guitar with expectations of incorporating those skills into her music.

Her style can be described as a cross between Gospel and a Soulful element.

TREYA grew up around music to the point it would have been impossible for her to not embrace it. Her Grandfather was Head of Security of WDAS Radio and played an intricate role in her wanting to embark on a career in music. He would often allow her to accompany him to special events with him that were sponsored by the radio station. She also received autographed albums from mainstream artists as he would often invite them over for dinner. Some of her cousins were members of the legendary group "THE STYLISTICS" and she also has a twin sister that was blessed with a remarkable voice.

Some of the producers that helped to shape her signature sound includes RYAN "GHOST" BOWSER, KEITH REVERE, KING JAMES, and PASCAL GUYON.

She is also influenced by the legendary PATTI LABELLE, who spawned her to become a stellar writer and to embrace the Gospel sound. ETTA JAMES was also a great influence upon her.

TREYA is currently register with BMI and is planning on releasin her album JUBILEE this summer. She recently began a promotion on her first two singles "TODAY BELONGS TO YOU" and "SEE YOU".
